Hello, I purchased a pair of your bridal flip flops and absolutely loved them! I'm wondering if/how they should be cleaned? They got fairly dirty from wearing them all day.
We're thrilled to hear you were happy with your shoes! Thank you for your inquiry regarding cleaning. The moire taffeta is backed, if it gets too wet, the fabric to separate from the backing. This means, where your foot rests, it is hard to clean and not recommended.
As far as cleaning the straps, you can try either of these two methods:
1) Purchase fabric cleaner at a shoe repair shop. Be sure it is clear, and should look and smell like alcohol. Apply on stained areas with a cotton swab.
2) Dampen a washcloth, and apply a drop of mild soap or Woolite on the cloth. Gently rub on stained areas.
Use either method only on the exposed, stained areas around wear your toe rests. be careful not to use too much solution or water.
We made the choice to focus on the most comfort for your wedding day. Anytime you have white or light ivory fabric shoes, they will get pretty badly stained after one wear. That being said, you cannot beat the comfort of the fabric. Silk dyeable shoes that sell up to $600. a pair will look exactly the same after a one day wear as your flip-flops. Often those will be dyed, but can rarely be worn a second time as white or ivory.
I have received multiple order confirmations when I only want one pair of flip-flops. What do I do?
Everytime you order, you will receive an e-mail confirmation. No worries. We only ship orders that are paid through Paypal. All unpaid orders are deleted within 24 hours.
Does my shipping and billing address have to be the same?
On our order form, shipping and billing addresses may be different. Paypal requires the same shipping and billing address for payment authorization purposes. However, we will ALWAYS ship to the shipping address you have provided on our order form.
How long will it take to receive my order?
It will take up to THREE Full business days to fill your order. Then will we ship according to the shipping method you selected. Orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays will be logged in as Monday's orders. Please allow one to two extra business days for orders requesting multiple pairs.
If you pay by check or e-check, your order will ship after your payment clears in our account.
USPS PRIORITY will reach most destinations in the USA within two to three days. USPS EXPRESS will reach most destinations in the USA overnight. You will be e-mailed a notification when we ship. If you do not receive your package within the estimated time frame, please contact us for assistance.
Why was my order cancelled and my payment refunded?
If you do not select the correct shipping option we will promptly cancel your order and refund your payment. Our "free ground shipping" option is reserved for Shoe Clip orders only.
International orders must select the USPS EXPRESS option for $25.00 to cover costs, however, it will not ship Express, it will ship likely Priority. We reserve the right to decide, but know that we attempt to ship the fastest method available based on the shipping and handling fee we charge.
How white are your white wedding flip-flops, and how do they compare to the ivory?
Our white moire taffetta flip flops are snow white and our ivory color is light, more like "natural".
